Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative upkeep of industrial electrical equipment and control systems.
- Actively participate in learning to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery, motor control centers, and power distribution networks.
- Execute electrical installations, component replacements, and system upgrades strictly adhering to safety standards and company operational procedures.
- Support the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of all electrical infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory of materials used.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety regulations and protocols, including Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Engage continuously in formal training sessions and practical application to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and production departments, to ensure seamless plant operations and minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns and assist in rapid fault isolation and restoration of power.
- Operate and maintain a variety of electrical testing equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
