Heat Electric is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrician to join our growing team in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical installations, maintenance, testing, and repairs in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and effectively, minimizing disruption to clients.
- Install, inspect, and test electrical wiring systems and equipment according to BS 7671 (18th Edition) standards.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide clear and concise communication with clients, explaining work undertaken and offering solutions.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including test certificates and job sheets, accurately and promptly.
- Work independently or as part of a team, managing time and resources effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated with industry advancements.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- BS 7671 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a qualified Electrician, minimum 3 years
- Valid UK Driving License
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety standards and practices
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach
Preferred Qualifications
- PAT Testing certification
- Experience with renewable energy systems (e.g., solar PV, EV charging points)
- Familiarity with smart home technologies
