Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to branch staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and email configurations.
- Ensure data security and integrity by adhering to company IT policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and applications.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support requests.
- Assist in the implementation of new IT systems and technologies.
- Collaborate with regional IT teams to ensure standardized and effective IT operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network troubleshooting.
- Understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
