Job Description
Alpha Mead Group is seeking a highly professional, reliable, and experienced Driver to join our corporate team in Banana Island, Ikoyi. This is a critical role that ensures the safe, timely, and comfortable transportation of our executives and corporate staff for business-related activities. We are looking for an individual with an impeccable driving record, strong knowledge of Lagos road networks, and a commitment to maintaining vehicle integrity and confidentiality. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our corporate operations, contributing to the smooth daily functioning of our executives. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport company executives, clients, and staff to various destinations as required.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of the assigned vehicle, performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Schedule and oversee regular vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance in a logbook.
- Plan efficient routes using navigation tools to avoid traffic congestion and ensure timely arrivals.
- Demonstrate flexibility with working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, based on executive schedules.
- Maintain utmost confidentiality regarding all company and executive information encountered during duties.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or G endorsement preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or executive setting.
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos road networks, especially Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, and other key business districts.
- Excellent defensive driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Strong sense of punctuality, responsibility, and reliability.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics for routine checks and minor troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Defensive driving certification.
- Previous experience driving for C-level executives or high-net-worth individuals.
- Basic computer literacy for communication and record-keeping.
- Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
