Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely to clean all kitchenware, cookware, and utensils.
- Hand wash specific items as needed, ensuring all items meet hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and floors.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces.
- Support the kitchen team by putting away clean dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery in their designated places.
- Empty trash receptacles regularly and assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts.
- Monitor dishwashing detergent and sanitizing solution levels, refilling as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
- Assist with receiving and stocking supplies when required.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
