Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely to ensure all dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Sort and stack clean dishes, ensuring they are stored in their designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station, including sinks, dish machines, and surrounding areas.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleanup, including sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety guidelines and procedures, as well as company policies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
- Support other kitchen team members as needed to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
- Manage the disposal of food waste in an environmentally responsible manner.
