Job Description
Eterna Plc is seeking an accomplished and visionary Director to join our Executive/Senior Management team in Rumuodomaya, Port Harcourt. This pivotal role requires an exceptional leader with a proven track record of driving strategic growth, operational efficiency, and sustainable profitability within a complex and competitive industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction, overseeing critical business units or functions, and ensuring alignment with our overarching corporate objectives. You will be responsible for translating high-level vision into actionable plans, fostering a culture of high performance, and mentoring senior leaders. This role demands a deep understanding of the energy sector, strong financial acumen, and an unwavering commitment to excellence and ethical leadership. As a key member of the executive team, you will report directly to the Managing Director/CEO and will be expected to contribute significantly to policy formulation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's vision and growth objectives.
- Oversee the operational performance of designated business units or functions, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Drive financial performance, including budget management, cost control, revenue generation, and P&L accountability for specific areas of responsibility.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing senior management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansions to enhance Eterna Plc’s competitive position.
- Ensure robust risk management frameworks are in place and adhered to, safeguarding company assets and reputation.
- Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including regulators, investors, partners, and customers, representing the company's interests effectively.
- Contribute to the formulation of company policies, corporate governance, and ethical conduct across all operations.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making.
Required Skills
