Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Streaming Analyst to join our Label Operations team in Cabot, AR. This pivotal role will be responsible for meticulously analyzing digital streaming data across various platforms to provide actionable insights that optimize performance for our diverse roster of labels and artists. You will play a crucial role in understanding consumption trends, identifying growth opportunities, and informing strategic decisions related to content distribution, marketing campaigns, and royalty optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a deep passion for music, and a comprehensive understanding of the digital music landscape, including major DSPs (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music). This position requires a proactive individual who can translate complex data into clear, concise, and impactful recommendations for our label partners and internal teams. You will collaborate closely with Label Management, Marketing, and Data Science teams to ensure our artists’ content reaches the widest possible audience and generates maximum value. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various digital streaming platforms (DSPs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards on streaming performance, audience demographics, and consumption patterns for internal stakeholders and label partners.
- Monitor performance of artist releases and campaigns, providing post-campaign analysis and recommendations for future strategies.
- Collaborate with Label Managers and Marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies for content distribution, playlisting, and promotional activities.
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to digital streaming and provide insights into their impact on revenue and artist growth.
- Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform algorithm changes, and emerging technologies in the digital music space.
- Assist in forecasting streaming performance and potential revenue for upcoming releases.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences through presentations and written reports.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role, preferably within the music, entertainment, or digital media industry.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
- Strong understanding of digital streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music) and their data ecosystems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

- Experience with SQL or other database query languages.
- Familiarity with music industry-specific data sources (e.g., Chartmetric, Alpha Data, Soundcharts).
- Understanding of music licensing, publishing, and royalty structures.
