Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Marketing Officer with a strong focus on campaign execution and optimisation to join our dynamic team in Smethwick, Birmingham. This role is crucial for delivering impactful digital campaigns across various platforms for our diverse client base. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the end-to-end management of digital marketing campaigns, from conceptualisation and planning to implementation, monitoring, and reporting. You will work closely with our wider digital and client service teams to ensure campaign objectives are met, key performance indicators (KPIs) are exceeded, and our clients achieve a significant return on their investment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, email marketing).
- Conduct thorough keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy.
- Develop engaging ad copy, compelling landing page content, and creative assets in collaboration with design teams.
- Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring optimal spend, maximum reach, and high return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor campaign performance daily, identifying key trends, actionable insights, and opportunities for continuous optimisation.
- Generate comprehensive reports on campaign performance, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, emerging tools, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with client service teams to understand client objectives and translate them into effective digital campaign strategies.
- Ensure all digital marketing activities comply with industry regulations, data protection laws (e.g., GDPR), and ethical best practices.
- Contribute to new business pitches and proposals by providing expert digital campaign strategy and execution insights.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in planning and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, draw meaningful insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent understanding of SEO principles and their effective application in campaign strategy and content optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and other comprehensive reporting tools.
- Solid copywriting and impeccable communication skills, capable of crafting persuasive ad copy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a closely related field.
- Current Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications.
- Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) techniques.
- Prior experience working in a marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
