Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Digital Marketing Analyst for a remote contract position. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our digital marketing performance across various channels, including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media, email marketing, and display advertising. You will be responsible for tracking, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of our campaigns, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and achieve key business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust tracking and reporting mechanisms for all digital marketing campaigns, including website traffic, conversion rates, and cost per acquisition (CPA).
  • Analyze complex data sets from various sources (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, CRM, ad platforms) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  • Generate regular performance reports and dashboards, presenting key findings, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to marketing stakeholders.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experimentation to identify optimal campaign strategies, creative elements, and user experiences.
  • Monitor SEO performance, conduct in-depth keyword research, and provide recommendations for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO improvements.
  • Evaluate SEM campaign performance, suggesting bid adjustments, keyword optimizations, ad copy improvements, and audience targeting refinements.
  • Assess social media and email marketing campaign effectiveness, identifying engagement patterns, conversion drivers, and opportunities for audience segmentation.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, content creators, and IT teams to ensure data-driven strategies are integrated into campaign planning and execution.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging digital marketing trends, new analytics technologies, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve ROI across all digital channels and contribute to overall marketing strategy development.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing analytics or a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Google Search Console.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, identify key insights, and formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting, data modeling).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms and methodologies (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize, VWO).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot Marketing, or similar digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience in the financial services industry or a highly regulated environment.
