Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS (Warehouse Management System) and other internal software.
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and ensuring proper storage.
- Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Conduct regular physical inventory audits and investigate any variances.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely (certification preferred, training provided).
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and other departments to optimize inventory processes.
- Identify and report any damaged or expired inventory.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP or similar.
- Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of inventory best practices and logistics operations.
- Previous experience in a global logistics or supply chain company.
