Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, including cabins, lavatories, galleys, and flight decks, between flights and during overnight stops.
- Empty waste receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of trash according to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Sanitize and disinfect high-touch surfaces, seats, tray tables, and lavatory areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Vacuum and clean carpets, wipe down windows, and polish surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Replenish supplies such as seat-back items, lavatory amenities, and general cabin provisions as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards observed during cleaning operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, operational procedures, and environmental guidelines established by Delta Air Lines and airport authorities.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and storage.
- Collaborate with other ground operations staff, including ramp agents and customer service representatives, to ensure timely aircraft turnaround.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty, representing Delta Air Lines positively.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial, or hospitality services.
