Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, network connectivity, and application issues via phone, email, chat, and remote assistance tools.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary, and diligently tracking progress.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software for internal users.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Office 365).
- Document all support activities, resolutions, and solutions in the IT service management (ITSM) system for knowledge base enhancement.
- Provide clear, concise, and user-friendly instructions and guidance to professionals on IT best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in IT projects, including software rollouts, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements, as required.
- Ensure compliance with Deloitte's IT policies, security protocols, and operational procedures.
- Proactively monitor systems and networks to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in an IT Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Experience with remote desktop support tools and ITSM platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation.
- Experience with enterprise-level hardware and software deployment.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with collaboration tools and video conferencing systems.
- Previous experience supporting users in a professional services or consulting environment.
