As a Delivery Helper, you’ll be an indispensable part of our two-person delivery team, working closely with our professional drivers. Your day will be dynamic and rewarding, starting with the meticulous loading of furniture onto our delivery trucks, ensuring each piece is securely blanket-wrapped, strapped, and positioned to prevent damage during transit. You’ll become an expert in product handling, understanding the nuances of different furniture types and the best practices for their safe transport.
Upon arrival at customer locations across the Macon area, you’ll assist the driver in carefully navigating tight spaces, protecting customers’ homes, and expertly unloading and placing furniture exactly where our customers want it. This often involves maneuvering heavy and bulky items, requiring significant physical stamina and a keen eye for detail. You’ll be responsible for verifying delivery manifests, confirming that all items are accounted for and match the customer’s order, and assisting with any minor assembly tasks as needed, such as attaching legs to tables or beds.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of furniture and goods onto delivery trucks.
- Carefully transport furniture into customers' homes or businesses, ensuring no damage to property or products.
- Verify delivery manifests against loaded and delivered items, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Assist with minor furniture assembly or placement in customers' homes as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
- Report any product damage, customer concerns, or delivery discrepancies promptly.

- Valid driver's license (non-CDL).
