As a Delivery Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their purchases safely, efficiently, and with a smile. We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on work. You’ll work closely with our experienced Delivery Drivers, navigating the beautiful South Florida area to deliver furniture, appliances, and electronics directly to our customers’ homes. Your day will be varied, involving everything from meticulously loading and organizing items in our delivery trucks to expertly assembling furniture on-site, all while upholding Badcock’s reputation for outstanding service and professionalism. Physical stamina and a positive attitude are key, as you’ll be lifting, carrying, and maneuvering large items, often up and down stairs.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Delivery Drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of furniture, appliances, and electronics.
- Carefully transport items into customer homes, ensuring no damage to merchandise or property.
- Assemble furniture and set up appliances/electronics as required in customer homes.
- Verify product accuracy against delivery manifests and obtain customer signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and traffic laws during deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and warehouse areas.
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and dispatch regarding delivery schedules and issues.

- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 75+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
