As a Deliveroo rider, you’ll be an independent contractor, allowing you the freedom to choose your own hours and work when it suits you best. You’ll be responsible for picking up delicious food orders from our partner restaurants and delivering them safely and efficiently to hungry customers across Bolton, all while using your e-bike to get around. Key Responsibilities
- Collect food orders from partner restaurants and local shops in a timely manner.
- Deliver orders directly to customers' specified locations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions, representing Deliveroo professionally.
- Navigate Bolton's streets safely and efficiently, utilising a smartphone for navigation and order management.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Maintain your e-bike in good working condition for safe and reliable deliveries.
- Handle payments and manage orders through the Deliveroo rider app.
- Communicate effectively with customers, restaurants, and Deliveroo support when necessary.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in riding an e-bike safely and confidently.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with the Bolton area.
- Ability to use a smartphone effectively for app-based order management and GPS navigation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
- Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely deliveries.
