Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input a high volume of alphanumeric and numeric data from various source documents into internal databases and systems, ensuring strict adherence to data entry protocols.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness, meticulously identifying and correcting any discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies to maintain data integrity.
- Prepare and organize source documents for data entry, including sorting, coding, and filing, to ensure efficient processing and retrieval.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to all data security and privacy protocols and company policies.
- Regularly update and maintain existing database information, performing audits and clean-ups to ensure current, reliable, and consistent data across all platforms.
- Generate basic reports, summaries, and data extracts as required, utilizing various data entry systems and software.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve data-related queries, clarify ambiguous information, and ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with data cleanup projects and other administrative tasks as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in data entry or a similar administrative role requiring high accuracy.
- Exceptional typing speed and accuracy (e.g., 60+ Words Per Minute with minimal errors).
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs) or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for data manipulation and document creation.
- Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to data integrity and quality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating self-discipline.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- A post-secondary certificate or diploma in Office Administration, Business, or a related field.
