Key Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring the highest level of data accuracy and integrity.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using industry-leading tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Proactively identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data to uncover business opportunities, mitigate risks, and support strategic planning.
- Collaborate effectively with various business units to thoroughly understand their data requirements and translate these needs into precise technical specifications.
- Develop and implement sophisticated data models to support advanced analytical projects, forecasting, and comprehensive reporting needs.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions, provide timely insights, and support strategic initiatives.
- Articulate and present complex data findings and actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear, compelling visual and written communication.
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and methodologies in data analytics to ensure EPCOR remains at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and database querying.
- Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formula creation.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling principles, and data warehousing concepts.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Eligibility for TN Visa status as a U.S. Citizen, with relevant degree and professional experience aligning with NAFTA requirements (e.g., Computer Systems Analyst, Management Consultant).

- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis and scripting.
