Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity for remote operations.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to remote workforce performance, customer interactions, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau to communicate key metrics and findings.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders across different departments, including operations, HR, and senior management, through clear and compelling narratives.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other analysts to improve data infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytical methodologies.
- Monitor the performance of remote-specific initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within data collection and reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices for data security and privacy.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and remote work strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense for dashboard creation and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data cleaning, validation, and transformation processes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and data warehousing concepts.
- Previous experience in the financial services or insurance industry.
- Understanding of A/B testing and experimental design.
- Certification in relevant data analytics or BI tools.
