Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity for remote operations.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to remote workforce performance, customer interactions, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau to communicate key metrics and findings.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders across different departments, including operations, HR, and senior management, through clear and compelling narratives.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and other analysts to improve data infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytical methodologies.
  • Monitor the performance of remote-specific initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within data collection and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices for data security and privacy.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and remote work strategies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Expertise with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense for dashboard creation and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data cleaning, validation, and transformation processes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and data warehousing concepts.
  • Previous experience in the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Understanding of A/B testing and experimental design.
