Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process raw data from various internal and external sources to ensure data integrity and usability.
- Perform in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence (BI) tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable business insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with different business units (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations, Risk) to understand their data requirements and analytical needs.
- Support data quality and data governance initiatives to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our data assets.
- Present findings and insights effectively to non-technical audiences through compelling visualizations and narratives.
- Continuously research and stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies in data analytics and insight generation.
- Identify and explore new data sources and analytical techniques that can enhance our understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities in both English and French.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Fundamental understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Prior experience (2+ years) in the banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for advanced data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with the local market dynamics and socio-economic landscape of North Kivu Province.
