Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large and complex datasets from various internal and external sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide ongoing insights.
- Perform in-depth statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, define requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new data analysis tools, techniques, and processes to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards, protecting sensitive information and promoting responsible data usage.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
- Demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis and interpret complex data.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience in the financial services, insurance, or consulting industries.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
