Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the identification, evaluation, and selection of new suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including vendor contacts, purchase orders, contracts, and delivery schedules.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and current market trends and pricing for various materials and services.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and cost savings.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast procurement needs.
  • Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the evaluation of supplier performance to foster continuous improvement and strong vendor relationships.
