Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in a structured training program across various departments (e.g., Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Commercial).
- Shadow experienced professionals to learn operational procedures, best practices, and industry standards.
- Contribute to departmental projects and initiatives, applying academic knowledge to practical business challenges.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making and process improvement efforts.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as required by mentors and supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities, including workshops and certifications.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across different functions and levels of the organization.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the graduate trainee program.
Required Skills
- Minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical), Applied Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields from a reputable university.
- NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, dedication, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong desire to learn and adapt to new challenges and environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated leadership potential through extracurricular activities or volunteer work.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Fluency in additional local Nigerian languages is an added advantage.
