You will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including managing reservations, assisting with check-in processes, resolving passenger issues, providing accurate flight information, and generally ensuring that all customer interactions are positive and professional. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet passengers warmly and provide comprehensive assistance with ticketing, reservations, and general inquiries.
  • Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including baggage handling rules and seat assignments.
  • Process ticket sales, changes, and refunds accurately and efficiently using the airline's reservation system.
  • Provide up-to-date flight information, including delays, cancellations, and gate changes, ensuring clear communication.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and empathetically, escalating complex situations when necessary.
  • Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, passengers with disabilities, and elderly travelers.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Dana Air's products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with airport staff, ground operations, and other airline personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all company and aviation security regulations and safety standards.
  • Handle cash and card transactions responsibly and reconcile daily sales.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the airline or hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer issues.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and experience with reservation systems is a plus.
  • High level of empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in any discipline.
  • Experience working with an airline reservation system (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).
  • Familiarity with IATA ticketing procedures and regulations.
  • Fluency in additional local languages (e.g., Ibibio, Efik) is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a role requiring direct customer interaction in a demanding environment.
