Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers warmly, providing excellent in-person and over-the-phone service.
  • Process routine banking transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about accounts, products, and services.
  • Identify customer needs and effectively cross-sell relevant Wells Fargo products and services, such as credit cards, loans, and investment options.
  • Handle cash and maintain a balanced cash drawer with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
  • Adhere strictly to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those related to security and fraud prevention.
  • Educate customers on various banking technologies and services, including online banking, mobile apps, and ATMs.
  • Collaborate with branch team members to achieve customer service goals and maintain a positive and efficient branch environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and financial data at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service, retail, or a related client-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with standard office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and data.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience with cash handling and balancing.
