In this pivotal hybrid role, you will be the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of our valued small and medium business clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction, retention, and growth with Sage products and services. You will be responsible for understanding their unique business challenges and opportunities, proactively identifying how Sage solutions can provide maximum value, and driving product adoption and loyalty. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a dedicated portfolio of Sage customers, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions to understand customer needs, present new features, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Monitor customer health, identify at-risk accounts, and proactively implement strategies to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, technical support, product development, and marketing teams to address customer issues, gather feedback, and ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Educate customers on the full potential of Sage products and services, driving adoption and usage to maximize their return on investment.
- Negotiate contract renewals and work to expand customer engagement through strategic account growth initiatives.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasting of renewals and potential growth within your assigned customer base.
- Champion customer feedback internally to influence product roadmap and service enhancements, contributing to continuous improvement of our offerings.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Customer Relationship Management within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving retention, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and customer success platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with accounting, payroll, or HR software solutions.
- Familiarity with the small and medium business (SMB) market segment.
