Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries, product location, and purchase decisions.
  • Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including stocking shelves, merchandising products, and ensuring promotional displays are up-to-date.
  • Assist guests with self-service options and digital tools, enhancing their shopping experience.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Support inventory management processes, including receiving, processing, and organizing merchandise.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
  • Stay informed about current promotions, product features, and store services to better assist guests.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong guest service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and counting change
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role (6 months+)
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus
