As a Customer Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, engaging directly with them both in-person at the branch and occasionally over the phone. Your main objective will be to understand their unique financial situations, identify their needs, and offer personalized solutions that align with their short-term and long-term objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with banking transactions.
- Proactively identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Webster Bank products and services (e.g., checking, savings, loans, digital tools).
- Open new accounts, process loan applications, and update customer information accurately and efficiently.
- Educate customers on various banking services, online tools, and financial literacy concepts.
- Maintain a deep understanding of all bank products, services, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable instruments with accuracy and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and retention.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, security protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and offer solutions.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
- A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays, as needed.
- Cash handling experience and mathematical aptitude.

- Previous experience in banking or financial services.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
