Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CRM Officer with a strong focus on customer database management to join our dynamic team in Kolwezi, Lualaba Province. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our customer and stakeholder data. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our CRM database, including data entry, cleansing, standardization, and segmentation. You will work closely with various departments, including Business Development, Communications, and Community Relations, to support their strategic initiatives through robust data insights and effective CRM utilization. This position requires a proactive individual who can not only manage data but also analyze trends, generate reports, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance our engagement strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the CRM database, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all records.
  • Perform regular data cleansing, de-duplication, and standardization processes to uphold data quality standards.
  • Develop and implement data entry protocols and best practices for CRM users.
  • Generate custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into customer behavior, engagement, and trends.
  • Provide technical support and training to CRM users, resolving issues and enhancing user proficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective CRM solutions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of targeted communication campaigns based on segmented customer data.
  • Monitor CRM system performance and recommend enhancements or new features to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies regarding data handling and security.
  • Contribute to CRM system upgrades, integrations, and data migration projects as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in CRM database management, preferably with a major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent understanding of database principles and data integrity best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve CRM-related user issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data manipulation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the mining, industrial, or natural resources sector.
  • Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is highly advantageous.
  • Certification in a leading CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce Administrator).
  • Project management experience, particularly in system implementation or upgrades.
  • Understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.
