This pivotal role involves providing essential support and mental care services to individuals navigating various life challenges, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and other psychological concerns.
As a Counselor at our esteemed center, you will be instrumental in fostering a safe, confidential, and therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to pursue positive change. Your responsibilities will span from conducting initial comprehensive assessments and developing individualized, client-centered care plans to delivering evidence-based counseling sessions, both individually and in group settings. We are looking for a professional who is not only adept at crisis intervention, emotional regulation techniques, and conflict resolution but also passionate about promoting mental wellness, resilience, and personal growth. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare practitioners within the center, including doctors, nutritionists, and physiotherapists, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care. This collaborative model is central to our philosophy, aiming to address the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional health for truly comprehensive well-being.
Your day-to-day will involve maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, adhering strictly to ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by relevant professional bodies, and continuously engaging in professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health care. Beyond direct client interaction, you will have opportunities to contribute to educational initiatives, workshops, and community outreach programs designed to destigmatize mental health issues, raise awareness, and enhance overall community well-being. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a vibrant wellness community, grow professionally, and truly touch lives in a beautiful Caribbean setting.
