Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations within a designated department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of employees, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining high service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock management, and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and accurately.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and cleanliness protocols.
- Assist in scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives.
- Handle cash management, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Identify operational efficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and member satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and management to achieve store-wide goals and objectives.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume retail setting.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with Costco Wholesale Corporation.
- Forklift certification or experience operating similar warehouse equipment.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
