Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise counting, weighing, and systematic identification of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Efficiently stock, organize, and replenish merchandise on shelves and display areas, ensuring optimal product presentation and accessibility.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile inventory data with system records.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), in a safe and responsible manner.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization throughout all warehouse and sales floor areas, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Assist with the preparation of merchandise for shipment and the efficient processing of new product deliveries.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across different departments to ensure seamless product flow and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Promptly report any inventory discrepancies, product damages, or quality control issues to supervisory staff.
- Strictly adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Engage with members on the sales floor in a courteous and helpful manner, providing excellent service when needed.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven accuracy in counting and record-keeping tasks.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems for data entry and inventory management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, physically demanding, and fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
