Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors in all areas of the warehouse.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, fixtures, and equipment throughout the facility.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Support special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with colleagues and members.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles.
