Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of actual costs versus budgeted costs, identifying and explaining variances.
  • Support the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives across various operational areas.
  • Prepare regular cost reports and present findings to management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assist in the review of procurement processes and supplier contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Participate in inventory management and reconciliation activities to minimise waste and optimise stock levels.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to understand operational costs and financial impacts.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Continuously learn and apply new cost control methodologies and best practices.
