Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in financial analysis, including reviewing client financial statements and preparing credit applications.
  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support the Corporate Banking team in preparing client presentations and proposals.
  • Participate in client meetings and internal strategy sessions, taking notes and contributing insights.
  • Help manage and update client relationship databases and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including risk management, product groups, and global teams.
  • Research and analyze potential investment opportunities and M&A transactions.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and client service.
  • Learn about regulatory compliance requirements and internal policies.
  • Shadow senior bankers to gain insights into client interactions and deal execution.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate finance, banking, or capital markets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship experience in a financial services setting.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling techniques.
