Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and other food items.
- Learn and follow Mundo's recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently after receiving proper training.
- Support the kitchen team during service, ensuring timely and efficient preparation of orders.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies correctly.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues.
- Participate in daily kitchen cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Be open to receiving feedback and continuously learn new techniques and kitchen practices.
Required Skills
- No prior professional cooking experience required; a strong passion for food and cooking is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.
