Gécamines is seeking a talented and dedicated Content Writer – Blog & Marketing to join our growing communications team in Likasi, Haut-Katanga Province. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit high-quality, engaging content for the company blog, website, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Conduct in-depth research on industry-specific topics, company initiatives, and sustainability efforts to produce informative and credible content.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive traffic.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., HR, Operations, Sustainability, CSR) to gather information and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, style, and tone across all written communications.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
- Contribute to content strategy development, including topic ideation and content calendar planning.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to inform future content decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content marketing and SEO.
Required Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
