Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding and barricades.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment, transporting them as needed around the site.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., drills, saws, jackhammers).
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians) with their tasks.
- Mix and pour concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform general clean-up and maintenance of the construction site.
- Support the team in demolition, excavation, and renovation tasks.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the site supervisor immediately.
