Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople such as bricklayers, carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks on site.
- Loading, unloading, and distributing construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment, including site tidy-ups, waste removal, and general housekeeping.
- Operating basic hand tools and power tools under supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Performing manual labour tasks, including digging trenches, spreading aggregate, moving earth, and preparing foundations.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific rules.
- Supporting the setup and dismantling of temporary structures, hoarding, and access equipment.
- Handling and moving heavy materials, requiring physical stamina and adherence to lifting procedures.
- Reporting any site hazards, incidents, or near-misses to the site management team promptly.
- Learning and developing new construction skills under the guidance of experienced professionals and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous manual labour for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and willingness to follow strict protocols.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).

- First Aid certification.
- Full UK driving license with access to own transport.
