Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons and other workers with a variety of tasks on diverse construction sites.
- Perform manual labour such as digging, lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), carrying supplies, and clearing debris to maintain site cleanliness and safety.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., shovels, rakes, jackhammers), ensuring their proper use, maintenance, and safe storage.
- Clean and prepare construction sites, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Load and unload construction materials, and efficiently move them to designated work areas.
- Assist in the installation of pipes, structural components, paving materials, and other building elements under supervision.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, contributing actively to overall site efficiency and hazard reduction.
- Support site supervision and team members in daily operational tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Actively learn and adhere to established construction methods, techniques, and quality control procedures.

- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) Driver’s License with a clean abstract is considered a strong asset.
- Experience operating basic construction equipment (e.g., bobcat, compact excavator, forklift) is a plus, but not strictly required.
