Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with various tasks.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up work areas.
- Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision.
- Dig trenches, spread gravel, and perform other manual labour duties as required.
- Remove debris and waste materials from job sites.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada upon successful immigration/visa process.
Preferred Qualifications
