Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Associate to join our growing team in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the bank's operations.
  • Conduct internal compliance reviews and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance-related matters.
  • Facilitate and support internal and external audits related to compliance.
  • Assist in the investigation of reported compliance breaches or incidents.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
  • Maintain accurate and organized compliance documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk, and internal audit teams to ensure a cohesive control environment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance, risk, or regulatory role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations (e.g., BSA, AML, OFAC) and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
