Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other transactions.
  • Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain clean and organized displays, ensuring products are fresh and easily accessible.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and preparing items for the sales floor.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and hygiene, including aisles, checkouts, and backroom areas.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals and provide mutual support.
  • Process online orders for customer pick-up or delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation.
  • Assist with special promotions, merchandising changes, and seasonal displays as required.
  • Learn and adapt to new products, procedures, and technologies to continuously improve service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and counting inventory
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer service role
