Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings to provide early input on testability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate quality metrics to project stakeholders.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments and test data.
  • Utilize automation tools and scripting languages to develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
  • Ensure all testing activities adhere to established quality standards and project timelines.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
