Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings to provide early input on testability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate quality metrics to project stakeholders.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments and test data.
- Utilize automation tools and scripting languages to develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
- Ensure all testing activities adhere to established quality standards and project timelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with SQL for database testing.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SOAPUI).
- Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
- Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
