Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines, ensuring optimal performance and output.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve minor machine issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Set up, adjust, and calibrate machinery for various product runs, ensuring correct specifications, product quality, and efficient changeovers.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on products at different stages of the production process, identifying and rectifying any deviations from quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed production records, including downtime, output, waste, and quality control data.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to achieve production targets and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, sanitization, and start-up procedures, ensuring smooth transitions between products and shifts.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and production schedules.
