As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of Coca-Cola products to various retail outlets, restaurants, and other customers. This role requires not only exceptional driving skills but also a keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will operate commercial vehicles, manage delivery routes, load and unload products, and ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (e.g., cube vans, straight trucks) for the delivery of Coca-Cola products on assigned routes.
- Efficiently load and unload merchandise, ensuring accurate counts and product integrity.
- Verify order accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logbooks.
- Adhere to all provincial and federal transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, acting as a professional and courteous brand ambassador.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately as required.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs, delivery discrepancies, or customer feedback to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and good working order of assigned vehicle and equipment.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license with air brake endorsement (or equivalent provincial license).
- Clean driving record (Driver's Abstract required).
- Proven ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy products (up to 50 lbs consistently).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in beverage delivery or a similar route-based delivery role.
- Familiarity with Winnipeg and surrounding Manitoba routes.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks (certification an asset).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
