Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Engineer (מהנדס/ת ענן) to join our dynamic infrastructure team in Tel Aviv for an immediate start. This is a critical role where you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for Wix’s cutting-edge products and services. You’ll work with a diverse set of technologies, primarily within a Kubernetes-centric, multi-cloud environment (AWS, GCP).

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration systems.
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and infrastructure changes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud services.
- Ensure security best practices are followed and implement robust access control mechanisms.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical infrastructure.
- Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and tools to enhance our platform.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with a strong preference for AWS/GCP.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and containerization technologies (Docker).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Understanding of security principles and practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with large-scale microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in Hebrew (reading, writing, and speaking) is a plus.
