Job Description
We are actively and urgently seeking a talented and passionate Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team, supporting critical initiatives within the US market. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms like IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop and deploy automation scripts and tools using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Administer and optimize container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices for all cloud deployments.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident response and support.
- Document cloud architectures, processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., IBM Cloud Professional Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with serverless computing and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
