Job Description

We are actively and urgently seeking a talented and passionate Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team, supporting critical initiatives within the US market. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms like IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Develop and deploy automation scripts and tools using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Administer and optimize container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices for all cloud deployments.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident response and support.
  • Document cloud architectures, processes, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., IBM Cloud Professional Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
  • Experience with serverless computing and microservices architectures.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Experience with SRE principles and practices.
