Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and administrative offices, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, walls, and other surfaces thoroughly and according to established health and safety standards.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to designated disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of all equipment and tools used in the cleaning process.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual observations to management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
- Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, visitors, and fellow team members.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or events as required.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently and meticulously.
- Understanding and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs), and move continuously throughout shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills to understand instructions and interact with residents and staff.
- A compassionate and respectful demeanor towards older adults.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a senior living, hospitality, or healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus, though not required.
