Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waste disposal in various facilities.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas thoroughly.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards, adhering to company protocols and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and colleagues.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and materials responsibly and safely, following all product instructions and safety data sheets.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for maintaining service schedules.
- Strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weight (up to 25 lbs), and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
- A positive attitude and a proactive willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various cleaning environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or institutional cleaning is an asset but not strictly required.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products, equipment, and environmentally friendly practices.
